neontardis asked: I've been watching your progess with that sweater of yours and nearly had a heart attack seeing you cut it! Why were you sewing it and cutting it?

I thought I have a really cool idea… but I did not. Rather than rip out miles and miles of knitting, I stitched it up on my machine and cut off what I no longer wanted.  Now I can pick up stitches and knit my sleeves from here.
